Warranty Policy
At Total Solar Energy Solution, we are dedicated to delivering high-quality service and long-term support to our valued customers. Your solar and/or battery system is covered under the following warranties.
Panel Warranty
Solar panel warranties are provided by the respective manufacturers. Most panels come with:
- 25 to 30-year product warranty
- 25 to 30-year linear performance warranty (depending on the brand).
The performance warranty typically ensures the system will not lose more than 2.5% efficiency in the first year, and then will degrade linearly each year thereafter. By the 25th year, performance loss should not exceed 20%, ensuring at least 80% output efficiency after 25 years, unless otherwise specified by the manufacturer.
Inverter Warranty
Inverter warranties are also provided by the manufacturer. Depending on the product you choose, inverters come with either a 5-year or 10-year warranty (refer to your order confirmation for details). During this period, Total Solar Energy Solution will cover the cost of materials and labour for repair or replacement of a faulty inverter. If a replacement is installed, the remaining warranty period continues with the new unit.
Battery Warranty
Battery warranties are provided by the manufacturer and typically last 10 years. Total Solar Energy Solution will cover the cost of materials and labour required for repair or replacement of a defective battery in accordance with the manufacturer’s warranty terms.
Workmanship Warranty
We proudly offer a 10-year workmanship warranty on all installations. This covers any defects or damage caused to your property during installation. Additionally, we guarantee the proper operation, performance, and safety of the installed PV system throughout the warranty period.
